This hymn moves me to tears

I first heard this hymn in Spanish... I only remember one part... "Cuan grande es El, cuan grande es El."

HOW GREAT THOU ART

O Lord my God, When I in awesome wonder,
Consider all the worlds Thy Hands have made;
I see the stars, I hear the rolling thunder,
Thy power throughout the universe displayed.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

And when I think, that God, His Son not sparing;
Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in;
That on the Cross, my burden gladly bearing,
He bled and died to take away my sin.

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

When Christ shall come, with shouts of acclamation,
And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart.
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration,
And there proclaim: "My God, how great You are!"

Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art.
Then sings my soul, My Saviour God, to Thee,
How great Thou art, How great Thou art!

Original words by Carl G. Boberg (1886) and translated and 4th verse by Stuart K. Hine, 1953

Yeah, I deliberately left out several verses because I think those were later added by another songwriter.... The original song was written in Russian or German..?

But that is cool that you know the lyrics by heart. Before I got the cd, I had only heard the song a few times in English. It moved me to tears when I first read the lyrics on the overhead projector. So, I am just now learning them, now that I have the cd. It will be great to be able to sing it whenever I want!
